XDAETA
The Future of Immersive Music Interaction Space
The XDAETA project merges scientific themes with immersive technology to create an interactive virtual music environment. By exploring cosmic phenomena, this project seamlessly integrates art, technology, and cosmic philosophy through a VR interface, offering a unique world-building experience. Inspired by science fiction and immersive digital technologies, XDAETA invites users to participate actively in a VR setting, where their interactions and responsive music create an evolving auditory landscape, mirroring the process of forming new connections in a novel environment. Growing up in a Buddhist environment in China, I have incorporated Buddhist elements into the project's design. The high-density modular architecture symbolizes future development, reflecting cultural integration and the journey of finding balance and belonging in a new home. Through XDAETA, I aim to express the emotions and experiences of international students seeking a sense of belonging and establishing new connections in a new environment.
